Normal Skin
Normal skin is balanced, meaning it is neither too oily nor too dry. It isn't prone to severe sensitivity or irritation and has few to none imperfections.
Dry Skin
A dull, dehydrated complexion is often a sign of dry skin. Dry skin is undernourished, looks like flaky or rough skin texture and if left, can result in irritated and/or itchy skin.
Combination Skin
Combination skin is most commonly identified by an oily t-zone. This looks like an oilier forehead, chin and nose, with normal to dry cheeks. Combination skin may also have slightly enlarged pores and slight blemishes and imperfections.
Mature Skin
Fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and uneven skin tone are all signs of ageing. Ageing skin can also often result in an uneven skin tone, and dry and dehydrated skin due to the slower natural production of collagen and other essential proteins.
Sensitive Skin
Itching, stinging or burning sensations are often associated with sensitive skin. Sensitive skin can also experience patches of redness and is more prone to developing rashes.
Acne-Prone Skin
Acne-prone skin or problematic skin is often as a result of excess sebum in oily skin and a build up of impurities. Includes problematic conditions such as extreme breakouts and pimples, cystic acne and severe inflammation.
Oily Skin
Enlarged, clearly visible pores as well as blackheads, pimples and other blemishes are all indicators of oily skin. Oily skin looks like an all-over face shine and glossy complexion due to excess sebum.
Eczema-Affected Skin
Eczema is a skin condition that causes dry and itchy patches of skin, as well as general irritation and skin sensitivity. Similar conditions include psoriasis and dermatitis which present similar sensitivity and irritation symptoms.
